song jump around????? WTH???
 

i just installed windows xp pro with sp2 and winamp it is jumping around like it is playing song "a" but well jump into a part of song "b" but says it is still playing song a????? it is freaking my out ! ! ! i have used winamp forever and never had any trouble?????has anyone else had this happen????

winamp has to finish playing its first song before playing the next(it may have a few seconds crossfade at the end and start if you turned it on)

lets saying it is playing korn and well play in for about a 1.30 then jump to bowling for soup song at a 1.30 in to it??? out of the blue there is nothing wrong with the mp3's i have listen to them in vlc and windows media player????? i have download winamp 4 times ! ! ! same thing with all of them i have shuffle on and set it to replay all thats it nothing else.... what the hell??? anyone please help this freaks me out ! ! ! not making this up as a joke or something.. i just want to listen to mp3 and not jump in the middle of a song..

follow the clean re-install instructions. i'm pretty sure its a third party plugin causing the problem.

i have no plug ins or skins just the way it comes from the winamp website

Try the DirectSound output tweaks.
