Attempt at an album art mosaic wallpaper, still a bit too busy but the best I could come up with without making them completely unrecognisable.

With the holidays coming the the release of vista repidly approaching .... I went with this.

I love *nix and all, but in playing with Vista I've yet to see anything really bad about it.

Well, I did not spend too much time with it... but the windows security firewall became a pain in my rear end. It seemed to me like every time I clicked something, it had another warning message for me. If I remember correctly this was with RC1, so maybe things have changed a bit since then...

Yeah, that's a bit annoying. Fwih, they're working hard to make it appear less.

I have decided to opt for a more christmassy background, so I changed the background from "(none)" to "Snowy Trees"

You have to install Windowblinds (at your own risk!).

You have to have a program called Windowblinds to use that I think.

(Damn! Too late, too slow and too old!)

Maybe you can open the package with 7zip (or WinRAR? not sure), otherwise I'm sure Psythik will send you the wp separately.

Change the file extension from .suite to .zip and extract the contents. The wallpaper is in there somewhere.

How do you "shrink" a taskbar? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?:confused:

The size of the taskbar varies based on which visual style you are using. Each has its own task bar design, of a certain size.

Some are fat. Some are skinny. Some are juuuuust right.
[/Goldilocks voice]

But one thing you can do (with any visual style, or with the one that comes with Windows) is right click on an open area of the task bar and make sure "Lock the Taskbar" is unchecked, then click-and-drag the top edge of the task bar up or down.

(You can likewise drag the entire task bar to any edge of the screen.)

When you're done, turn "Lock the Taskbar" back on to keep it from being moved or resized inadvertently.

Take the one razzino has in his post. It loads without the taskbar!:D
