Special Characters in Winamp
Hello everyone, I have a small problem that needs a-fixin'
I'm not able to add tracks with special (foreign) characters to my Media Library. I remember having this same problem a while back and I fixed it somehow but really am not sure what I did. What I mean is... If I have an .mp3 that is called (for example) 01 - Større enn Tid - Tyngre enn Natt.mp3 and when I drag it into Winamp to add, it doesn't do anything. and when I change the "ø" to an "o" it works. So, is this a Winamp issue? or is it a Windows issue? And does anyone know what the proper procedure is to fix this? Thanks for your time |
the media library doesn't support unicode yet.
though winamp should now be able to open the files in the playlist editor and the main window. |
