Trouble syncing iPod with 5.32 Pro
 

Running 5.32 Pro on XP Media Center with a 4G 20GB iPod. Finally gave up iTunes to come back to winamp, and am having trouble syncing the iPod. I'm using the plugin that came with the install, and I can sync actual files just fine, both to and from the PC.

However, my problem is that if none of the actual files have changed, it's not syncing the information on the files, i.e. ratings, play count, tag changes, etc. from the pc to the device and vice versa.

This is key to me as I have several "Smart playlists" setup on the device so that ratings will build different playlists and also playcount (or lack thereof) is accounted for.

Am I missing something?

I've tested with my Shuffle 2nd - the same picture.

But I think there is an explanation (not solving your problem of course): for iTunes local media at iPod is just the same collection as at your computer - for Winamp Local Media Library and iPod content are quite different things with their own statistics each.

Sure I like option of "smart synchronization" if it would be in Winamp.
