New behavior in 5.32

This isn't necessarily a bug with 5.32, but it didn't happen until I installed 5.32. I know because I use a ram hog of an engineering program, and when I open V 5.32, my anti-virus (Avast Home) goes to 25% of my 2 gig of ram. Which Civil 3D wants. More specifically, the ashServe.exe module goes from 00 to 20-25%. I opened task manager and watched as it happened 2-3 times. Machine specs follow:
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
Board: Shuttle Inc RS480-M1573
Bus Clock: 201 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 03/30/2005
2048 Megabytes Installed Memory
Diamond X1600 PRO 512MB PCI-E [Display adapter]
avast! antivirus 4.7.892 [VPS 0654-0] Version 4.7.892

Might want to report that to your anti-virus provider then. Or see if you can create an exception for Winamp.

It might be due to the fact the Winamp Media Library may be scanning your watched folders on startup. Hitting each one of the files in the folders, which the over-protective AV scanner wants to scan too.

Curious as to why it hasn't showed up till the last version of Winamp, though. The Avast hasn't changed versions recently. And it doesnt happen with either quicktime or WMP, both of which phone home on startup. I tried playing the same files in those, and the AV process stayed at 00. Ah, well, I still like shoutcast, and will fiddle with a reinstall (clean) and ask the rooskies what they know. Whaddyawannabet neither of us understand what they have to say...
