Ipod syncing problem
 

Ok, I just openedd my new 80GB ipod fresh out of the box, I've tried to sync songs onto it via Winamp and it says the transfer is complete, but when I go to look for them and play them, the Ipod looks as if I never transferred anything.


All the directories are blank. But if I go into the ipod via Windows Explorer, the tracks are there.


What could be the problem? I'm using 5.3 btw.

Make sure you have the iPod support installed. If Winamp is seeing it as a USB drive and not an iPod, chance are you don't have it installed. Reinstall Winamp, make sure iPod support is checked under Portables.
