Gapless DSP Plugin???
 

Hi everyone.

I have the latest version of Winamp installed and am producing and internet radio and I am using MuchFX for multiple DSP plugins.

I have the NULL output plugin running so the sound doesn't interfere on my PC. I would like to be able to use a gapless DSP plugin with MuchFX so that the song transition would have no gaps and I could still use the NULL output.

Can anyone help me out?

I've made a preset for Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio DSP, which can do automatically skip silence, just go to properties > plug-ins > DSP/Effect and configure Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio DSP.
From there you press load and select the file I've attached with this message (the file attached is a zip archive so you need to unzip it first).

Of course a real time DSP trying to detect unwanted silence will never work quite as well as manually splitting the audio files to remove the silence, or as well as programs that can analyze the entire audio file, but this DSP usually works pretty well.
