Podcast Sync 0MB?
 

1) I have my top directory set as "C:\Documents and Settings\Spencer Thayer\My Documents\My Podcasts."

2) I am using Juice to download directly to My Podcasts.

3) When I hit "Sync Podcasts" it opens a screen reading "Writing New Database" and then quickly pops to a window reading something like "0 file (0 KB) / 0 files (0 KB), 0 deleted."

4) Nothing happens.

Any clue what I have done wrong? THANKS!

I am using an 80gig 5.5 gen iPod if that matters. I would really like to get this figured out because I hate iTunes, love winamp and really want to be able to use Podcasts. If I cannot figure it out I guess I will have to try another alternative to iTunes.

Any suggestions?

Yes I have checked that page several times hoping to see something I am missing. Have you seen this type of problem before?

Do I need to purchase the full version of Winamp to make this work?

No, that has nothing to do with Winamp Pro or Basic.

Let's check some basics:
* Do you see your downloaded podcasts in the Winamp MediaLibrary?
* Are they tagged with the Podcast genre (at least after the attempt to sync podcasts)?
* Do they have a playcount of 0?

Okay so I got the podcasts to work! I added the My Podcasts directory into the winamp media library. Thanks!

My downloaded video podcasts however are not syncing. Does MLPDO support video podcasts?

No, not yet. As soon as I have a video iPod, I'll add that....

I am going to donate $15 to this very worthy cause. But since I am doing this I am going to ask to please see the following things in further updates...

a) Of course Video, Photo and Games support.

b) In the ML Pod U.I. I would like to be able to select albums by Genre as well as Artist and Album.

c) When I change IDE tags in iTunes and I type "Pow" iTunes will automatically auto complete "Powerviolence." Can we something like this happen?

Those three things would make ML Pod without a doubt better than everything else.
