Friend of mine asked for Snoop songs on her mp3 player. I don't know his music at all and on the site I use he has 10 albums. Can anyone tell me what his more popular older stuff is?

Snoop isn't that great. Put some Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony on there so she knows what decent rap is like.

I'm not really into rap music, but a friend told me that Run-D.M.C. was pretty good, so I listened to some of their songs and they're actually pretty good. Are there any other artists that sound like Run-D.M.C.?

yes they can, but it is a long and painful process to do so. I might get working on that though.

I broke down and deleted all the posts where the user only posted a smiley the no one made a comment after (except for the one in this thread).

For a newbie to rap, nothing is easier on the ears than Eminem (or will smith! lol)

Get her to listen to Jay-Z too...he's good, and pretty easy listen
