question

I have been out of the winamp area for about a year. I had found I liked music match better for my taste, not that music match has went with yahoo I dont care for it. does the libary in winamp allow you to short your music so you can look for it by artist of album? Thanks

edit: also does winamp now scan your computer to find media files?

Media Library -> Library button (at bottom) -> Rescan Watch Folders or Preferenes -> Media Library -> Local Media -> Watch Folders tab -> Rescan now button.

If not in watch folders add new folders to ML. Media Library -> Library button (at bottom) -> Add Media to Linrary or Preferenes -> Media Library -> Local Media -> Watch Folders tab -> Add folder button.

or
Library(button in the left bottom corner of the ML) -> rescan watch Folders (in Background)

You can also drag files from Windows Explorer to manually add them as I do. I have very few songs and there are some files I don't want included (MIDIs in particular). I'm not sure if you can drag an entire folder into Winamp though.
