Songs Won't Play
 

Well, this has been happening for a while now. I have tried playing songs in Winamp, but they just won't play. They just skim the song, with no sound, and then the song ends, with no sound whatsoever. Can anyone explain it?

At a guess, you have Nullsoft Disk Writer selected as output plugin.

Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Output > select DirectSound output instead

If you indeed had the Disk Writer selected, all 'played' files will have been written to disk as wave files. You may want to check your hard drive and delete them (as they will be pretty large).
By default, the Disk Writer writes to C:\, you can check by selecting the plugin > Configure button.

I have it selected. It still does it.
