SD card problem
 

I ve got a problem :
If i use sync the player only transfers 256 songs on my 2 gb sd card ...

Can anyone help me ?

How big are the songs? If they are encoded at a high bit-rate or are really long, 2048Mb / 256 is only 8MB per song, which is conceivable.

on my 2 GB iPod I put ~220 songs

most manifacturers use roughly 4 MB/song as reference (4 minute song @ 128 kbps in mp3), so a 2 GB device is suitable for 500 songs

other manifacturers use 2 MB/song, in particular when .aac format and ohter high compression/low bitrate format is supported (4 minute/song @ 64 kpbs)

I have still 10 % left ... its not the problem of space .
