Placing playlists in list
Hi all,
I got myself a fairly big collection (145+ albums) of music on my computer. Yesterday I saw some playlists I imported, but had not placed alphabetically on the right place. So I moved a handful of playlists up until they where in the right position. This morning, when I started WinAmp I noticed the playlists again placed at the bottom of the list. My question: 1. Is there a maximum number of albums you can place in order in the list? 2. Does WinAmp forget the placement on new albums when it is shut down by XP because the computer is shut down? Hope anyone has in answer, TIA, Macamba |
As far as I know the only limit on the number of items you can have in your Playlist Editor is only limited by the amount of memory you have. I reckon it would take 100 000 items for anyone to start becoming limited by memory, with the excpection of old PCs.
Winamp must be shut down properly to save changes to prefs, Media Library and the playlist. If you don't close Winamp before shutting down WinXP the changes won't be saved. Well that is what I have found. Please reply if you need further assistance. |
Ah, thanks. I thought it must be because I let XP shut down WinAMP.
