Ok, I'm so fuckin' happy you're doing the work to reverse engineer that shit of ipod classic 6g, and the ml_ipod is working pretty well with mine, now

but I still have a problem I also had with the 30gb: chinese and japanese id3 and filenames become question points.

When I filled my iPod with the inbuilt winamp plugin everything went fine, now with the ml_ipod everything becomes somethin like ??? - ????? and so on.

Please can you fix it? asian music rocks :p

This is due to the fact that ml_iPod doesn't support Unicode (required for Asian languages) and probably never will. Refactoring the code to support it would require hours upon hours of programming work. The plugin is developed in our spare time; we just don't have the time to implement it.

I'm almost positive Winamp 5.5 will. It may even be part of the current 5.5 beta...
