Winamp 5.5 under Win98
 

This old problem is back after install and attempt to execute

The WINAMP.EXE file is linked to missing export
SHELL32.DLL:SHGetSpecialFolderPathA.

Any workaround please?

Did you not read the release notes?
Winamp is no longer supported under Windows 9x.

winamp lite might work if your lucky.

and even if it does run still on win9x, you've got to have at least IE 5.0 installed (since that api is related to the updated shell api which that version of IE provides). but basically if you're able to get it to run you're going to be lucky as all of the unicows stuff was stripped out so there will be a lot of things that just won't work
