5.5 Can't copy from browser
How do I copy something from the WinAmp browser window?
Upgraded to 5.5 yesterday. When I use Misc > Generate HTML Playlist it opens up a page in the WinAmp browser, but I can't copy it for use elsewhere (I'm trying to paste it into a spreadsheet). I'm trying to select all the playlist text in the browser window and then copy it using Cntrl-C, but when I get to Excel, the paste option is grayed out indicating an empty clipboard. I also tried Cntrl-X I also tried Cntrl-Alt-G from the playlist editor, but same problem. This used to be no problem in 5.35 (my old version until yesterday). I would just use Cntrl-Alt-G, it would open up my browser (IE) and I could select and copy. What am I doing wrong? This is hugely important to my record keeping. Thanks. |
It's because you are using the new Bento skin with the integrated browser. Switch to any other skin (eg: the bundled Winamp Modern or Classic or any other skin) and the Winamp Playlist will be generated in your default browser, as it has always done in the past.

Thanks. May I suggest adding a copy function to the Bento skin in future releases?
I do like the new skin. |

2) That's something that perhaps should be requested of the Bento Creator. 3) So do I! ;) |
