Album-Art - Sorting
hi @ all.
well, new release just tested and it still keeps moving in the right direction - thanks to the authors for that fine work. my "problem" is that there is no multiple sorting option for the new album art window - which is, as a standard, always sorted by artist and then by album(name) which is understandable, but in fact looks kind of stupid if you got a discography of an artist and the covers are like mixed up instead of a more logical chronological order. what I mean is simply sorting FIRST by column1=artist and THEN by column2=year or what so ever - like multiple sorting - wouldn't that be much more comfortable? is there any way to change that somehow or do I have to wait for that feature? maybe you could change the standard to "Artist - Year - Album name", instead of currently "Artist - Album - Year". thanks in advance, paul |
hi @ all,
sorry, but am I too strange with my wish or why isn't there any reply yet? it might feel a little academic to like the option of ordering files in different ways but come on doesn't it bother you sometimes a little? what do you guys think out there? thanks, Paul |
as I understand this changelog point:
* Improved: [ml_local] Album column sorting order logic it is already implemented, but it does'nt work for me |
@mynameisnobody
thx for reply, so I don't feel that lonesome... well, after testing the new 5.51 version I couldn't find improvements concerning my suggestion. @mods and developers what are these improvements supposed to be: !* Improved: [ml_local] Album column sorting order logic" where could I find more explanation about this? thx in advance, paul |
i think it refers to the sorting logic of a single column - the album column.
