Also, there is a difference between inside jokes, and flaming.

Take the following sentence for example;

"Tuckerm is a stupid douchebag and I hope he dies." is flaming. Or, "I hope pinu gets cancer and is raped by a two ton elephant.". That is also flaming. tuckerm = [something] is not flaming.

disclaimer: I don't actually mean wish cancer on anyone, so please don't take me seriously. Except maybe the line about tucker.
