When fastforwarding, video hangs for a second or two
I've searched the forums and the FAQ and didn't encounter this problem. My apologies if I missed it.
I've got Winamp 5.52 on Windows XP, 512 MB Ram, not sure what motherboard I've got right now.
If I'm watching a video with sound and I click on the timebar so that it skips a part of the video, the audio acts normally (as in changes immediately and gives the sound of the corresponding moment) but the video hangs for a second or two before changing to the video it should display for that corresponding moment. This also happens if I hit the left arrow so that it skips back five seconds; the video hangs for a second or two while the audio acts normal.
This also only happens in Winamp and not in Windows Media Player, I hope someone knows the answer to this problem so I can refrain from using WMP.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
