MP3 Filename Renamer from mp3 tag
 

Some of my older ripped CDs have horrendous filenames.
They have the format "track# - artist - song - album.MP3"
They are very difficult to view and organize on my hard drive.
Renaming these files is a lot of work.
Is there a plug in that will help me rename these files from their mp3 tags.
Lets say I want the format "artist - album track# song.mp3"
Maybe somewhere i can pop up menu and "auto rename file".

Winamp can't do this. But there is external software that is really good. I recommend MP3Tag. Its easy and its free
