Sticking problem
 

Hi guys I am new to the forum and I did have a look using the search facility but did not find anything obvious.
I hope I have followed procedure. SO here goes.

I am running latest version v5.531
I am running Nullsoft NSV Decoder v1.09
I am running AVG paid version on my system and all is up to date and it does allow winamp thru my firewall etc.

My problem is this. I live in Portugal but I am originally from the UK so I use streams to watch the odd UK tv program.
Sometimes I can watch the stream for 2 hours or more. However every now and again it will go to 0% and try to buffer. During the buffer it will always freeze up. Even after turing winamp off and on again it refuses to move past the original sticking point. The only time I can get it to work again is by rebooting my PC. All my configurations are set up as per the user manual from the streaming company and they have confirmed that they have no issues with my stream at their end.

Could somebody please advise me on what the problem may be.
