Winamp not finding files
This seems to have just happened overnight.
When I open a playlist, all the files are not found, and it just skips over them all rapidly. I right click and go "view file info" and it says the file doesn't exist. However all the files are there, and they can be played individually (manually opened). The file path is correct. I loaded new songs in, they work, then saved playlist, and opened it, and it doesn't work again. I'm on XP... had this version for like 3 years... and didn't do anything overnight that should cause this problem. Any idea? Thanks |
Well, you may say that you have not done anything "overnight" to cause this, but something's certainly changed. I think it's best (easiest) for me to quote myself from another thread here, instead of retyping everything...

OK. I glanced quickly through your initial post and didn't spot that. My bad. In that case, then maybe your settings aren't being saved properly...
