Disable the built-in browser?
I'm a Winamp Pro user of many years, and even though I don't use it nearly to its capacity in terms of features, it is my preferred MP3 player.
Having said that, the Winamp Browser troubles me. How do I completely disable it, and any other HTTP traffic other than a version update check?? Browsers are inherently huge security risks, and the last thing I want to do is open new script exploit opportunities. Thanks |
Bump. Is there a way to turn this off?

Are you referring to the Browser tab in the Bento skin?
If yes, then you can't disable that. Though you can switch to a different skin (Winamp Modern, Winamp Classic, or 3rd-party) where there is no Browser tab. |
