I was very excited to discover a new album had been released, so unexpectedly and so soon after Ghosts. Anyway, I just finished downloading the FLAC version and I'm about halfway through the album right now. I must say that I do like it.

:D

Downloading...

Thanks for the tip!

I downloaded it yesterday, it's good.
I just spent about 4 hours playing TF2 with it on loop.

Not bad. Not my favorite of the discography, but still good. I should have stuck with the flac but I instead got the bloated high quality wav files to see just how good it sounded on my gear. I'm thinking of getting flac too for comparison purposes to see if the highest quality is noticeable to me.

I gave him one of my email addresses when I downloaded the single song a couple of weeks ago, on his promise that the email wouldn't be used for spam. I guess he meant it wouldn't be used for spam by anyone but himself, because that email address received an advertisement for his new tour. That's why I used the pirate bay to get the album.

Can't say the album did a lot for me, but the last one I liked was Pretty Hate Machine.

It's very variable. "Head Down" is great, though.

The album is a bit different. This is the first NIN album I've ever heard. I've heard maybe one NIN song before this. Not too bad I guess.

I downloaded the 24/96 wav files.

The high quality wav files do (in my opinion) have an audible increase in sound quality to the flac when played on my hardware/gear. I do honestly think that the lost storage space is worth it if you really do appreciate a noticeable increase in sound quality. Anyone else try both?

I downloaded every format just because I'm such a nerd for the band and I have to have everything. I personally didn't notice any differences, but then my set up is fairly cheap as this then 15 year old didn't have much of a budget.
