Acoustic Lounge 7/10 192

If the DJ for this station reads these blogs, this is for you. I will admit I love your radio station, it is my favorite on shoutcast. How dare you show the artist names for the songs that I am familiar with and call everything else "chilled grooves" or "saturday night grooves" Let your listeners know what they are grooving to. How unfair. Its frustrating listening to such great music and not even know who the artist is. Get it together. You as a DJ should relate.[B][B]How unfair.

You posted to the right place for a good rant, but unfortunately the DJ is very unlikely to see your post as most shoutcast DJs don't come to the Winamp forums.

I'm hoping you're not the DJ of this site trying to get listeners. We've had 'back-door-spam' like this before, but I'm guessing you're not like that.

I am not a DJ, just a listener. This will be my last post regarding that station. I have put too much energy in trying to find out the names of the music. Thanks for your comment.
Peace and love.

I wish there was something I could do, but without any contact information to the person that runs the station, it's difficult to take action.

When you listen, are there any times between songs when the DJ says something in terms of who he/she is or whether or not he/she has a web site or email address? Does Google help? I guess I'd be rather mad too if I were in your shoes.

If the DJ does nothing to provide contact information, he/she will not get any feedback and therefore won't have much information as to what will make his/her broadcasting better or worse. I hope for the DJ's sake that you'll be able to communicate with him/her.

Unfortunately, it is a station that has no commercials, no talking at all. I have googled, yahooed, you tubed, tried to find by lyrics, you name it. The station plays the same music day and night with little change or new music. So at least I do hear the songs I like often. I can't even contact shoutcast to find out who the DJ is. I'll just keep tuning in. Thank you for your interest. Peace and love to you and yours.
