Why does Whitecap open in a new window?
 

I'm using Winamp 5.531 with the Big Bento skin, and whenever I open up the Whitecap visualization (trial version 5.1) it always opens up in a new window instead of the main winamp window. Is there any way that I can make it so that Whitecap will open in the main window?

The answer is:

Because it's old.

Whitecap was made before Winamp even supported Modern skins, let alone opening in an attached Vis window.

turns out it's still maintained with a new release in the last few months but more than likely winamp integration (if it's there - couldn't see anything on the plugin's site) is in the non-free version. then again with not seeing anything refering to winamp integration (i'm not going to install it), you'd need to contact the whitecap developer(s) and see what they say.
