Missing radio and tv

I have bought the winamp pro and everything was fine until a few days ago when I found I have no shoutcast radio or tv. The internet connection is fine but when I double click on a radio station or tv station nothing happens. Before I use to get the message "connecting" and then "successful" but now nothing.:hang:

So let's see...

You actually HAVE the SHOUTcast online services installed and you can see them and they are accessible as selections in the ML left column - right?

And they had been working up until a few days ago - right?

Could be 1 of 2 things...
  1. The SHOUTcast servers are acting up again (yes - it does happen), and you may have to wait till they are online/available

    OR...
  2. Winamp uses the IE browser internally for online services, so try clearing your cache...

Clearing Cache on Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0

Clearing Cache on Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0

Online services (web pages) will not load properly with a crapload of temp files cached. First CLOSE Winamp. Then try deleting those files/emptying your cache. Then reopen Winamp again. See if that helps.

Disappointing Winamp

Well I have now been without radio and tv on winamp pro for 10 days. I tried the suggestion of a member and cleared the cache but no joy. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling winamp but nothing. When I double click on a radio or tv station I get nothing. I use to enjoy listening to SKY FM when doing work on my laptop but it looks like I will have to look around for another media player which is a shame as I paid for this one:mad:

Try adding the following sites to Internet Explorer's trusted zones
(Microsoft Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options... > Security tab > Trusted Sites icon > Sites... button)
*.winamp.com
*.shoutcast.com
music.aol.com

No luck? Please provise Winamp & system specs.

Different Webbrowser

I was wondering if the fact that I changed web browers would make any difference. I was with Internet Explorer but now I use Mozzila Firefox

Make any diffrence how? The Online Services (plus Dashboard and Now Playing) use Window's built in Internet Explorer controls. Using Firefox does not change this.

Thanks Sawg for the reply. Well I give on the tv and radio problem.

Tv & Radio Back

Well I finally got my shoutcast radio and tv back on winamp after 13 days. I deleted every file I could see with the winamp logo on and then reinstalled it. I think it was one of the plugins causing this problem.
