how do I clear cddb record?
I am coping a couple of audio books to mp3's, however in the process of doing so I need to find the track info, enter the gracenote cd database, how ever some of the listings are not correct or incomplete, but after loading the DB I am unable to get it to rescan to try another selection if more than one is available.
can anyone tell me how to rescan a CD to allow a new track selection to be chosen? |
Right-click anywhere in the Tracks pane of the CD view in the Media Library,
select 'Edit CD Info' then go to the MusicID tab and click the 'Lookup' button. If there's multiple possible matches, you should be presented with the selection dialog again. To manually clear the remote cddb database, with Winamp closed, you can delete the cddb.db file in the %appdata%\winamp\plugins\gracenote folder The local cddb database is %appdata%\winamp\plugins\cddiscs.dat & cddiscs.idx Though you shouldn't need to manually delete any files... |
thanks for the response, I actually just figured that out after doing some poking and prodding around myself, as far as the idx and what not, the look up feature I just found this morning as I was converting another book on CD.
but again thanks |
