Problem with launching Winamp
1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I'm haveing an issue with starting up Winamp. When I try to run an audio-file, nothing happens. Pressing "enter" or rightclicking and open, have the same result. I have to start up Winamp manually and then when its allready running, I can open my files again. So, It plays all my files nicely, no problems here. But I have to do open Winamp myself. Now this only occurs with my audio-files, whenever I want to open a video-file (like AVI); Everything runs normally. I have just done a new clean installation, but its still the same. I only use Winamp and VLC-player with all audio)files associated with Winamp and all video-files with VLC. I have no codec-pack at all installed. I have also attached a HijackThis-log to my post I'm useing a laptop (Acer 3103WLMI ) with Amd Sempron 3400+, ATI Radeon Express 1100 (64mb)and 512mb DDR2 Ram. Still useing WinXP/SP3. |
Did you by chance go playing around in the services Control Panel? Disable DCOM by chance? Don't do that.

Problem solved:D !
Thanks! I reinstalled Windows last week and have been playing around in the services panel afterwards while tweaking everything. |
