Unable to scroll
Hello,
I wasn't able to find anything on the Winamp forums nor Google. I went trough all the FAQs, Help Docs, Tech supports greatest hits, I tried searching but still nothing. See I got this lame ass problem, whenever I want to scroll down my playlist, I have to click a song of course, to make the window active. The kicker here, though, is that after I've clicked the song and scroll, I scroll the song itself downwards or upwards, the window itself does not move. I've never had this problem before, and I haven't made any noticeable software/hardware changes for ages. I think I got it after I updated to the newest version(5.54) from god knows what version I had. Also tried re-installing but didn't seem to work either. If anyone would like to give me a hand here that would be great. <3 Cheers, twizz |
Known issue and not specific to ver. 5.54

Unless, I have misunderstood your post. |
That's not the case I'm afraid.
If you choose the Winamp Classic skin and highlight a song to make the window active so that I can scroll it's like the scroll is dragging the song title name up and down. If the Winamp list shows from song 250-300 and I try to scroll with a song highlighted in blue, it remains at 250-300 but the highlighted song will be moved up or down accordingly to how I scroll. Thanks, twizz Edit 1: I think going back to an older version might help. Will edit it in here in a few minutes whether it worked or not. Edit 2: Going back to older versions did not seem to do the trick either. I also removed my mice software to see if it had gotten any new updates that were messing around. Wasn't the case either. I'll do some further troubleshooting. |
Please provide Winamp & system specs. At lease a plug-ins list, however the other info would be helpful as well.

Hello again JonnyMac.
I was thinking of including all that information yesterday when I created the post. But I thought it was too much for such a little problem so I didn't bother writing it all down. Anyway, it turned out that my problem was with the mice itself. I dug down deep into my "old stuff" box with everything you can imagine in it, and in it I found a 4-5 years old wireless mice which I connected. It seems to work perfectly now. Thank you JonnyMac for trying to help, much appreciated! Kind regards, twizz |
