crash >5.54 promblem with Shoutcast and sqrsoft crossfading
 

Hello, i have a BIG problem with Winamp 5.54. Since 5.54 Winamp crash directly after update 5.53. After an hour testing i know that the newest versions of winamp crashes when "sqrsoft crossfading" and also when the shoutcast plugins are installed. It 'doesn't matter if xp or Vista is running on the pc, because a friend has exactly the same problems. The only thing that we could do is go back to version 5.53 or a clean 5.54 install but than we can't broadcast! :blah:

I hope we can in the future broadcast our amateur radiostation with the newest Winamp also. Until that time we can't update our winamp.:blah:

Third-party plugins are not supported. But the author is supposedly working on a fix. Contact sqrsoft for the update.

I know ther'e old plugins but they are perfect and there are no alternatives so far as i know (incl. a good crossfading). Thanks for the answer, i hope that good solutions are coming up, otherwise i am forever stuck on the 5.53 version :)-. (and yes i tried the most pay mp3 play software but the search is in the most of them are crap)
