Itunes and winamp can't but WMP and VLC can play mp3

Help, help and help. Most of my mp3s are not playing properly on Itunes and Winamp. Haven't done anything special. It worked fine about 2 months ago. Been installing codec like crazy. Reinstalled Windows but nothing. Going mad soon. Plz help me.
