Shoutcast/Online Services Missing?
Good afternoon,
I just reinstalled Winamp 5.541 after a long absence. I'm running XP SP3 on a 2.16 GHz laptop with 2 GB of RAM. I was suprised to open my media library and see that all the online stuff is missing. I did some googling and searching here, but I haven't found anything helpful. All the 5x docs seem to indicate it is still there, although I did find the page saying that it was organized on shoutcast.com. I have no internet issues and after a reboot, XP asked if I wanted to unblock the orb application (winamp remote?). I did unblock it but I still see nothing in my media library. Is this to be expected? I can browse and listen fine from shoutcast.com. Sorry if this seems a ridiculous question but after searching I'm still not sure. I appreciate your help. |
Please post your List of Plugins
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....d=161361#specs At a guess, you unchecked Online Media (and maybe some other Media Library plugins) in the Installer Options: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....id=199851#list |
You're right, I wasn't paying enough attention. How embarrasing. Thanks for saving me from myself. I remembered unchecking stuff like the 50 free mp3s and such, but I must have unclicked online media and kept on going.
Thank you very much. |
