Creative Zen Vision M - Missing Playlists
 

I've always used Winamp to organize/play my songs from my Zen and I never really have any problems with them. But for some reason, right now, Winamp isn't loading over half of my playlists. Only the same 5 or 6 are showing up out of about 15 playlists. I've tried exiting Winamp and starting it back up, I've tried unplugging the Zen in various ways - nothing. Its still only showing up the same 5 or 6 playlists, but not the rest.

Now, at first I thought that it might have just deleted the playlists, which would still be a problem, but the playlists are still showing up on the Zen perfectly fine. They just aren't showing up on Winamp under Portables where they should be.

So what can I do to get them to show up again?

Ok, now I just noticed that for the other 10 playlists that I had, it kept the playlist name, but removed every song. So I have to redo 10 whole playlists.

Thankfully it didn't delete the songs off the Zen itself, but these playlists, as I'm sure you all know, take a hell of a long time to do. Now I have to redo it all again.

EDIT: And I just noticed that Winamp isn't letting me click "New Playlist" to add them all over again.

So there's 2 questions, now:

1) Why did this remove all the songs from 10 out of my 17 playlists?

2) Is there any way to get the playlists back in order?

3) If I go through the trouble of making the playlists again, is it just going to re-remove things and make it all useless?
