disable Gen Window Winshade
Is there a way to disable/kill/remove the (new?) Winshade from the Gen Windows? (Classic mode skins; v5.541)
Who asked for this, anyway? The Gen Windows have NO function in the "shade" mode - why not just open/close these windows as needed? I have problems from this pointless feature: 1)If I Winshade the Playlist window (which DOES have function shaded), all my other Gen windows (Library, Album Art, etc.) go to the Winshade mode as well. [You should tell people that that's where this button comes from!] 2)Clicking the Winshade button again to restore the window doesn't work if more than one Gen window is open. After they're in the Winshade mode, the only way to restore them is to click on that tiny area just under the Winshade button. [Advertise this, too!] And even then, they restore to a default minimum height - you have to re-size & re-dock to get back to where you were. I re-skinned my PLedit to "hide" this button. It doesn't look stupid, but now I have to know where to click to Winshade the Playlist window, and I sometimes "accidentally" hit it in a Gen window (on close). Please lose this pointless feature, or tell me how to disable it. |
It's a feature added by the Jump to File Extra plugin (gen_jumpex.dll)
