how do i add to library directly?
 

how can i add songs from my desktop into my winamp media folder (where i keep all my music) by using winamp? or can i only do it by manually making a folder then adding it in the then searching for media via the options in winamp?

Preferences > Media Library > Local Media > Watch Folders tab
Make sure "automatically add played files"

And then play the file.

Or just drag and drop the track into the Local Media section of the Media Library.
