Media Library View Options
I hunted everywhere before posting this but could not find anything.
I'm used to using the old MusicMatch before it switched to Yahoo and I loved the capability of viewing tracks in the library like this... + ALBUM NAME TRACK1 TRACK2 TRACK3 ETC... It was able to collapse and expand so that every single track doesn't show all at once. You could get to the album you wanted and click the '+' to expand the album and view the tracks. Is this view possible in Winamp??? Thanks! EDIT: Keep in mind I'm a novice user and I appreciate 'dumbed down' assistance :) |
Not exactly like that. If you create (or edit) a Smart View and set the filters to Simple Album or one to Album or Album Art then you will be able to click on the album in the top pane and only the tracks from that album will show in the bottom pane.
P.S. More details to come. |
Damn computer!
To do my suggestion above, right click on a view in the left pane of the Media Library and select "Edit..." or "Add smart view". http://users.telenet.be/darnley/imag...-album1_sm.png Set up the filters to either be "Simple Album" or have at least one filter set to "Album" or "Album Art". http://users.telenet.be/darnley/imag...-sv-album2.png When you are done, press OK. Now when you click on an album name or a cover, only the tracks from that album will be shown. http://users.telenet.be/darnley/imag...-album3_sm.png |
