cd ripping issues
 

when ripping cds in winamp 5.4pro the ripped tracks are individually put in separate folders. the folders are labeled with the album, artist and song info, but the winamp file within the folder is labeled with only the track number. in older versions of winamp tracks were labeled with just the track number. this is not a major issue, more of a organizational/house keeping issue.

as i remember in older versions of winamp the ripped tracks were labeled with the album, artist and song info and were put in a folder labeled with the artist and album info.

is this just the way 5.4 works or is it something that may have been changed and can be reconfigured? i'd prefer to have my ripped cd's end up in the second way i described so any help would be appreciated.

you can change the ripping format to whatever you would like.
Go into the preferences, click on CD Ripping on the left and choose the Output File Settings Tab.
