"play tracks similar to" not working
 

OK. specs : HP 8510W XP SP3 2Gb Ram soundmax audio card

When I right-clic on a file, I have the menu coming, but when I click on "play tracks similar to" name, nothing happens.
I tried to go in prefs->plugins->media library -> Nullsoft Playlist Generator v1.1 [ml_plg.dll] to configure it manually: reset databes, then scan, it stays on Status : step 2/4 Scanning local media database 0 fo 0 files complete... for hours, well minutes at least.

I uninstalled winamp, reinstalled it I have the 5.541

i have the exact same problem.
at first, when i tried to use this feature, it came up with an error message, then another, then another, and so on.. i terminated the process to stop it, reopened the program, tried the feature again, same result. the third time, i tried tinkering with the options just as you did (i did not reset the database though) and since then i am getting nothing at all when i want to use this feature!

any help/bugfix would be apriciated.
