Video Volume Leveling
Straight to the point, here's my problem.
I have all 9 seasons of Seinfeld on my computer and I've ripped them all from the DVD myself, using the same settings for each disc. Now, when I play them back in WinAmp, some seasons are different volumes. I know this is not WinAmp's fault... just a result of an inconsistency in the actual discs. Anyways, my question is... how can I make it so all of these play back at the same volume? I'm tired of having to strain to hear season 8 while season 2 comes in loud as hell. I've read threads about this before, including threads about Replay Gain, which I can't seem to get to work, and threads about mp3Gain, which, I'm guessing, is not effective when it comes to .avi files. Any help here would be appreciated. |
Why didn't you do this when ripping the discs? Anyway, if you used mp3 for your audio, you could demux it and then mp3gain on it and then re-mux it.
If you don't know what you used or you didn't rip them then load a file into Gspot and post a screenshot. By which time, I suspect a mod will have moved this from the Winamp Tech Support forum. |
