Does in_cdda.dll really capture Line-In?
Hello, my Winamp Pro 5.541 works perfectly (congrat.s) except it will not output from my M/B Realtek HD Audio analog Line-In using URL=LineIn://. Winamp "sees" the input in its spectrograph. [MS Sound Recorder will capture this Line-In and and output it to either of my USB audio output devices ]. Winamp plays out to these devices correctly from all my other sources (CD,DVD,URL).
Can anybody suggest a fix, or recommend reporting a bug? Nullsoft gen_nunzio.dll(exe) utility locks up and will not run or exit. Nullsoft nunz.exe does not appear to do anything. I don't think I have any 3rd party plugins apart from G-Force (magic) and Jammix (which I don't use, because it seems to do nothing). My system is... [] Win XP Pro SP2. [] NVIDIA Intel Core-2-Quad (with M/B Realtek HD Audio v. 5.10.0.5694 drivers). [] USB Audio output devices in (alternative) use... TurtleBeach SRM USB (v. 5.12.1.40 driver) Behringer U-Control UCA202 (v. 5.1.2535.driver). {I do not currently have a virtual audio cable installed}. Please request further information as appropriate. Thanks very much, --G |
Winamp's Line-in support has been taken out of in_cdda.dll and replaced with Nullsoft LineIn plugin (in_linein.dll). Regardless, as before Winamp's line-in plug-in is for visualizations only. To use Winamp's volume, EQ or DSP plug-ins with the line-in you will need Jasper's LineIn plugin. Documentation is provided with the plug-in's ReadMe file or use the online docs. Some points about using the plug-in...

Thank you Thank you,
So much! I was hoping for a possible quick fix, and that's it. Long live Winamp. Now, to get to grips with that latency....
