Edit Stream Name?
All right, recently I started to listen a lot to digitally imported radio, as I'm always on msn and am desired that my friends see what I'm listening, I had a little problem. I only wanted that they see my current artist and name of the song playing, without digitally imported ad that's hanging. As I'm really an winamp noob, I was wondering is there any way to somehow delete/edit the streaming name.

I've no idea about your 3rd-party msn plugin thing, but for Winamp, go to:
Winamp -> Prefs -> Plugins -> Input -> in_mp3 -> config -> Streaming tab, and uncheck "Include stream name in title" |
The option for editing stream names in Winamp can be found here :
Prefs > Input plugins > Nullsoft MPEG decoder > Streaming tab > Streaming Extensions You probably just need to turn off 'Include stream name in title'. [edit] Hi Egg :) UJ |
Thanks mate, although now new problem appeared. In front of title name, it says ''Internet Radio''
I am using winamp plugin from myplugins.info Edit: It works now, but I can't add a additional custom information here: http://i41.tinypic.com/106kjkx.jpg |
The 'Internet Radio' is not being generated by Winamp.
You'll need to look at the plugin configuration for that. UJ |
