Something has occured to me. I have, like some other people, been unable to get visualiser to work with cds. I have a DVD drive rather than a straight CD drive. Could this be at the root of the problem? If so, could someone please suggest a remedy? Cheers.

Dont worry, this isn't a bug. Well kind of a bug i guess, but the cd player was never intended to be able to be used with vis or eq or shoutcast. Because all winamp does is tell the cd player to start playing. But there is a fix for this. Get the plugin called CD Reader (do a search for it). This will let you use your visualization plugins with your cds and also lets you stream shoutcast or do anything else like mp3s.
