song file name
 

I have downloaded 5.541 version of winamp, and have found that on the laptop is running vista home basic that it is not reading the file info correctly on the playlist editor.

I did change something in the preferences on the earlier version but am not sure where that was , can anyone advise.

Preferences (Cltr+P) > Titles
In the Advanced Title Formatting box use: $filepart(%filename%)

Thanks Sawg, I have this on the default setting which has that formatting in it. I want to be able to see the file name in the playlist as it is in the folder. :(

:) I found the solution, for anyone else interested if you want to see the file name in the playlist editor as it is in your file folder just untick the the advanced titles box in the prefences titles.
