Keyboard Hotkeys Do Not Launch WinAmp
Hello, all. I would appreciate some help with this issue.
My keyboard is a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. It has a single Play/Pause button. Up until yesterday, this button had the following functionality: If WinAmp was running, it would play or pause the current track. If WinAmp was not running, it would launch WinAmp. The problem is that the latter function does not work anymore. If I press my Play/Pause button without first loading WinAmp, it does nothing. Yesterday I removed and reinstalled IntelliType 6.3 to troubheshoot an unrelated problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? |
XP or Vista or something else?
XP: Start > "Set Program Access and Defaults" Select Custom, hit the tow down arrows to expand it. Select Winamp. http://teamtutorials.com/windows-tut...s-and-defaults Vista: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com...1-6186021.html |
XP 64 bit. I have already tried changing the default media player back to WinAmp. It did not affect the problem.
