Wimamp v5.551 Crashing
 

Hello,

I've just installed Winamp 5.551 over another version which i don't remember the number and it was crashing whenever I tried enterie Options - Preferences screen, since I had a couple plugins I decided to uninstall everything and start it clean!

It worked for a while, as soon as I re-installed a lyrics plugin that shows the lyrics in the media library window it started crashing again, it plays fine and it evens continue playing until I hit the "Don't send" button on the erro report window that pops up.

I've searched around the forum for something similar but I didn't find it, only people having crashing problemas exiting the Preferences menu.

And I don't know any specs I could give about the lyrics plugin that seems to be causing the crashes, it access a data base and shows the lyrics in Media Library window.

All we can do is tell you to remove the 3rd-party lyrics plugin and report the problem to the author of said 3rd-party plugin. Be sure to pint them to the Winamp 5.55 SDK.

Try a different plugin, or use the Lyrics service available in the new 5.551 Online Services.
