Open new file, without wiping out what was playing?

Beginner question.

Here's the scenario:
Winamp is running and playing music. Separately, I've got Windows Explorer (XP) open, and If I double-click a file in Windows Explorer, it opens in Winamp (good), but doing so wipes out whatever files/playlist were already loaded in Winamp (bad).

Is there any way to change that behavior, so that a new file gets added to the previously loaded files, instead of replacing them?

CTRL + P (Prefs) -> File Types -> Explorer Settings (to the right -> ..)
Checkmark the option "Enqueue files on double click in Windows Explorer (default is unchecked).

OR, without doing that, you can just RIGHTCLICK on the files in the Explorer and press "Enqueue files in Winamp". Then the file(s) will be added into the current playlist.

I hope that helps.. ;)

1. Winamp > Ctrl+P
2. General Preferences > File Types
3. checkmark "Enqueue Files on double click in Windows Explorer"

That will add to the list instead of replacing.

Or, double click on the file types option in the left plane to expand the options branch and then click on Shell Options, then checkmark "Add 'Enqueue & Play' to Winamp Associated file types" and "Set 'Enqueue & Play' as the default action"

Then the files will added (instead of replaced) and played.
