Winamp + iPod + Playlist error = Crashing Winamp
Goodnight/day everyone, I've had a bit of trouble since yesterday
First: I wanted to ask because I've been having trouble since yesterday with my Winamp. I connected my iPod shuffle and added some songs with Winamp 5.551 (i think that's how many 5's are there <_<), but apparently I couldn't (and still can't) find a way so that the songs play in the custom order I wanted (I had no trouble with the previous version of Winamp). Does anyone knows how to do this? Second: After that I started to mess around with the winamp settings (i mean the columns - Artists, Album and such) in the iPod panel (i was trying to find a way around my previous problem) when I made it so that no list was available to be viewed on that Panel (in other words: I could see the Device option in the drop-down tree as well as the iPod one, but once i clicked in the last one nothing showed on the main screen). And yet again i tried to fix this (so that I could at least watch the orders,) but somehow my Winamp crashed, and now everytime I try to open the ipod panel, it crashes. I've tried uninstalling and installing Winamp, reformatting my ipod but the error still stands. Does anyone know how to at least get me to watch the columns? Sorry for making my first post this long, but I really want to fix this before I go insane >_> Thanks |
well, after still playing (ok, bashing) my Winamp (with my rage) i decided to erase both plugins in the proper Winamp file .dll that had to do with the ipod settings: pmp_ipod (or something along that) and installed the ml_ipod.dll plugin that i had found sometime ago ...
I just did this, and it's working apparently (Winamp hasn't crashed after I click on the ipod option in the Drop-down tree), but i still have to check if i can add the tunes without any trouble (or ordering them in a custom way), but at least is an advance. I would like still to know if anybody has any solutions to my problem before (since I want to actually know what to do... cause i doubt it involves using a previous version of a plugin)... |
