Transfer to MP3 player not sorted correctly
I would like to switch from Windows Media Player 11 to Winamp, mostly because I hate WMP's interface colors and I like Winamp's (I like GUIs that don't strain my eyes).
So far I like everything about it except that when I transfer albums to my iRiver T10 player using WMP they transfer just fine, but when I use Winamp the songs in the album transfer in alphabetical order, not by track order. When I see the album in the player, the songs are out of order, which makes it useless for me. Perhaps I could tray doing a playlist first, but that adds an extra step that I don't wanna waste time with, I want it to be just like in WMP where I right click on an album, select "Add to sync list" and when I'm done selecting all the albums I just click Sync and wait for the transfers. I went through the preferences and I didn't find anything related to this, is this the way it's designed? If so, is there a plugin that would transfer the songs sorted out by track number? |
it's by design as talked about in this thread -> http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....25#post2505325

I don't get it, why would they design it that way? Who cares about transferring the songs in alphabetical order as opposed to track number as they are in the original album?
How can it be that nobody wrote a plugin yet to modify this behavior? Would it be that hard to modify the one that comes with Winamp? |
