CD Ripping problem

I'm running Vista and I just downloaded Winamp Pro. However, when I try to rip a CD track, I'm getting a message that says"Error in ripping track 1, cannot find decoder." Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm trying to rip them in the MP3 format so I can transfer them to my MP3 player...Help!
